Imperial Tombs of the Ming
The Ming Tombs are located around 50 km northwest of Beijing on the way to Badaling Great Wall, so most tour groups combine these two sightseeing spots. At the Ming Tombs, 13 of the 16 Ming Emperors are buried, so the whole site is relatively large. Leading up to the main gate of the tombs, the "Spirit Way" is a 7 km long road, guarded by various animals.
