Temple of Heaven: an Imperial Sacrificial Altar in BeijingTemple of Heaven: an Imperial Sacrificial Altar in Beijing, China

The Heaven's Temple and its park are nowadays something like the unofficial symbol of the city of Beijing. Built during the Ming Dynasty, the park is still full of life because many locals use the park to come and relax. Here you can meet many Beijingers who come for playing their music instruments, performing plays or socializing.

Core of the park is the Hall of Prayer for Good Harvests. The tower-like building is built on a marble terrace and - especially on sunny days - offers a unique opportunity to shoot great pictures. You can easily spend a few hours in the park to discover the unique atmosphere.
