Virtual Picture Tour of UNESCO World Heritage Sites in China

In this section we publish pictures of UNESCO world heritage sites in China. So far, the number of its sites on the list has reached 35. Two sites have been added to the list in 2006: the Sichuan Giant Panda Sanctuaries and the archaeological site of Yin Xu, close to Anyang City and two more sites have been inscribed in 2007: the South China Karst as well as the multi-storied village houses in Kaiping (Guandong Province). There are still many sites on the tentative list, so more sites will be inscribed on the list in the next few years.
