Hangzhou Daily Excursion
The city of Hangzhou was founded about 2,200 years ago during the Qin Dynasty, is listed as one of the Seven Ancient Capitals of China and used to be the capital of the Wuyue Kingdom from 907 to 978. In the morning we will take a boat ride on the scenic West Lake („Xihu“). After lunch we will visit the Old Town of Hangzhou with its traditional pharmacies and the flower market. Around Hangzhou, one of China’s most famous tea is grown - „Longjing“ Dragon Well Tea. We will visit one of the plantations where you will be treated to tea-tasting.
