Today we visit the Barkhor-Bazar, Jokhang temple - the spiritual heart of Tibet - and the world famous Potala Palace, a former residence of the Dalai Lama, which is also described as the 8th wonder of the world. We’ll furthermore visit the monastery of Drepung and/or Sera by bike. We use this laid-back day tour for acclimatization - Lhasa after all is 3’600m above sea level.
