Chengdu, Research Base for Giant Panda Breeding, Train Trip to Lhasa, Tibet
After breakfast, we will visit the Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding, a high profile endangered species research and conservation facility, attracting visitors and scientists from around the world. In the afternoon, we will visit Wenshu Temple, the biggest and very well preserved Buddhist temple in Chengdu. We well spend the rest of the afternoon with one of the most typical Chinese pastimes: drinking tea in one of the temple's tea houses. Early dinner in the temple's vegetarian restaurant and departure from Chengdu train station to Tibet.
