The Chinese side car is a copy of the Russian M72 and the German BMW R71 and the ideal vehicle to explore Beijing and its surroundings; whether you want to drive yourself or rather sit back and enjoy the ride in the side car. Hiddenchina.net co-founder Roman Lange has been an enthusiastic Chang Jiang 750 driver for several years in Beijing himself and - among others - made a lot of trips throughout Beijing and to the Great Wall of China.

We will gladly create a customized day excursion itinerary, so you can visit the most famous sights in Beijing like the Temple of Heaven, Summer Palace or the Forbidden City not by coach, subway or taxi, but riding a Chang Jiang 750. You decide which sights you would like to visit, we take care of the planning and organize the bikes and - if necessary - your drivers (Roman Lange may also be booked as driver if available).



We also offer 2-day and weekend tours; for example you can combine your hike and overnight on the Great Wall of China with a motorbike ride or go on a weekend trip to neighboring Hebei province (departure on either Friday evening or Saturday morning, return to Beijing on Sunday evening).

Please contact us as early as possible if you are interested in longer motorbike trips such as our tour from Xinjiang to Shaanxi, a ride from Beijing to Lhasa or from Beijing to Mongolia, as we need to prepare quite a lot of documents for such a ride.

Important Notice: If you want to drive on your own, you will need to have a valid Chinese driving license; neither foreign nor international driving licenses are valid in China! If you do not have a Chinese driving license, you can choose to either sit behind the driver or in the side car and enjoy the ride while your driver shows you around in Beijing.
